A LITTLE BIT....


Just a little bit....
A little bit of this...a little bit of that
Just that much...
Nearly half a year...since I took a new path
The road that I chose to walk...
The one that I knew would be stony,jerky,..and with so many turns..
I have not finished walking it yet...
There's a lot to go...a lot to be done
But, have I become a little bit wise?
Have I got that little bit?
Whatever may be the answer...whatever may be the truth..
I shall go on...
All that I know is....
I have met so many of those treading the same path as mine
Making the same choice that I have
And, I cannot but thank them less
For they have done much more than...
Making me a little bit wise...and I know they will always be out there...going on..making everything seem..
A little bit wiser...

THE MACHINIST

The Machinist lives, but does not breathe,
The Machinist performs, but does not expect results,
The Machinist commits errors, but does not cry over them,
The Machinist can see, but cannot perceive,
The Machinist cannot hear, but can sense,
The Machinist cannot walk, but can move,
The Machinist can process, but cannot think,
The Machinist cannnot kill, but can terminate,
The Machinist cannot be killed or die for that matter,
The Machinist is programmed - to be terminated.

Tomorrow....

Tomorrow- the day after, the day next,
Tomorrow - the antithesis of today,
Tomorrow - the harbinger of the immediate future,
Tomorrow always comes,
Tomorrow never dies,
There is time, there is tomorrow,
There is a tomorrow everywhere,
There is a tomorrow all around,
There are no rules, no prophecies,
There is: just one truth:
Today builds tomorrow,
Just as yesterday built today....
